What Is NDIS?
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is an Australian government initiative that covers the expenses of disability. People with a "permanent and significant" disability are entitled to comprehensive funding for all "reasonable and necessary" care needs relevant to their disability under the scheme. The NDIS offers assistance to individuals who have an intellectual, emotional, visual, neurological, or psychosocial disorder.
